This meter is simple to use just flip the switch to the correct setting and put the probe into the soil and you will have a reading. The pH meter reads from 3.5 to 8 which is enough for garden soil. Ideal pH is usually between 6.0 and 7.0 depending on the plant. This Meter is pretty well built for its low price and the probes aren’t exactly delicate but they should be taken care of.

Instead it has one thick steak that won’t break off from the rest of the piece. This meter doesn’t measure sunlight but that is the least useful feature out of the three.
